Psilodigm

As the title reads, I’ve released another track, or a small section of one, called BlueGreen on my Myspace page.

Let me know your thoughts on it, if you will.

Here’s something you Swinscoe fans are going to like. After trawling through various search engines for this tab to no avail, I decided to have a pop at it myself.

(note: I’ve focused on the most sublime part of the song (the intro) but this tab will be completed to the songs entirety in a matter of days)

New Logo! (temp?)

I’ve finally pushed myself to upload a song in the pre-mix stage, not something I like doing, but I feel that you all might want some proof I’m actually doing something.

In June 2008, 34-year-old Tim Dennis from southwest Scotland embarked on an overland expedition around the world to raise awareness for Street Kids International.

And now Tim has created this short film himself to show how he travelled around the world focusing on marginalized youth. His incredible adventure has inspired many. Since his return to the UK, Tim has been asked to present a presentation at the Apple Mac Stores around the world to promote individuality. And so “Around the World on a Mac” video is here. Designed using Imovie 09, IPhoto and music youth created by Vinny Barden of “Psilodigm” on a Mac too. It has been a great celebration of what has been achieved.

With progress on “Three” I can confirm that there is going to be at least a bare minimum of 11 tracks on the release, and that this will be the first album of Psilodigm to be released as a hard copy on CD as well as here on Jamendo.

I’m also currently planning for two pre-release tracks to be available on Myspace fairly soon.

Yep, looks like Psilodigm has scraped the bottom of the barrell for the last time.

2.5 EP appears to be the penultimate episode of Psilodigm, with the future and last full-length release ‘Three’ to be the closing era of Psilodigm all together.

Reason being so? As I’m currently constructing Three it occurred that I’m lacking funds for new equipment and that I don’t have near enough the time needed to compose, produce and promote any more releases.

The next release shall be worth the wait and the closing title, I assure you. Which raises another topic, when is ‘Three’ due to be released? Well, I don’t even know that yet, could be between 6 months and a year, it’s much dependent on creative flow and free time.

If you want to hear the tracks a bit earlier than when they are released, I’ll be posting a few as I finish them on my Myspace page here…

Psilodigm has recently started working on a single/EP release, just to keep you all informed!

All reviews and comments from listeners over the globe have been analysed and accounted for in this next production to bring a polished sound. I hope you all will enjoy the tracks as much as I did writing them. Influences on these tracks may be very familiar and recognisable to you.

Release dates havn’t been confirmed, although here is an estimate, early/mid March.

For this release I will need some album art, so I thought this time round I could ask the public if they’d wish to get involved with Psilodigm? If so just contact me here or on jamendo!
